Still in action.....

Hello friends,
It has been a while since I have posted anything, but know it is not due to a lack of missions.  Actually we have been busier than ever and I have been trying to keep up with the numerous request daily.  The word is spreading of BeGenerous and our efforts.  First of all, let me make clear that I would not be able to do any of this without the support of our community and all of your generous hearts.  I am truly blessed to be the hands and feet of the Lord.  I truly appreciate all of your help, which enables me to do so.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I will try to sum up our most recent missions in this one posting so you can feel as you are a part of it.  Your support is making a difference in so many lives.
MARCH
  • March 3rd-delivered diapers to Caring and Sharing to help them cover babies bottoms.
  • March 4th- Meeting in Bruce Fl supporting the Muscogee Nation and the Rural Relief. Diaper delivery to North West Community College in attempts to cover babies bottoms by helping students that are trying to better themselves but struggle to balance it all. Way to go guys!
  • Deliver shoes to children all over county from Bruce to Freeport to Defuniak to South Walton. THANKS WENDY KOTOWSKE! Still sharing the 100+ shoes you donated.
  • March 15th- Homeless Coalition meeting to join other community leaders that are striving to make a difference in our community.
  • March 18th- Met with a amazing group of women for Business Edge's Women of Wisdom.  Each women brought diapers for BeGenerous to show their support of our ministry.  We are blessed to have been a part of their meeting and be in the presence of such Godly inspiring women. Thank you Mona Ponder. You are fulfilling your God Given Purpose in life and I am so proud of you and Mel.
  • March 19th-Diaper Drive at Winn Dixie Miramar. Although our efforts there did not turn out as good as before, BeGenerous Inc was blessed by the IRON MEN of my home church DESTINY WORSHIP CENTER. Seeing 100+ men scurrying around Destin buying out of diapers in our local stores...PRICELESS. Way to go guys. I am proud of what type men represent our community. You all have stocked our shelves.
  • Path of Grace blessed us with an abundance of clothing and household items to share with our local agencies and Muscogee Nation.  I personally worked over 40+ hours sorting, packing, loading and moving loads of items from their Freeport Thrift Store through the county so other local agencies could help families in need.  I helped load 2 truck loads to be donated to the Muscogee Nation/Rural Relief in Bruce (Thanks Arlee' and her hubby- members of Bruce United Methodist Church), and filled a 20ft Uhaul truck for Opportunity Place, which services our homeless community at our only shelter etc. We were so excited to spread the love. THANKS PATH OF GRACE.
  • March 26th- My girls and I helped support Food for Thought and Heartworks Kids by attending their Pancake Breakfast Fundraising event.  I am so grateful that God works as he does and plants seeds along our journey.  These are amazing women continuing efforts to help our community as well. God Bless them and their missions.
  • We have provided diapers and clothing to a struggling mother of 3 small children.
  • We have fed and provided clothes and diapers for a family of 5 that needed help due to father being critically ill.
  • Provided help to 2 boys that were pulled from a bad situation and placed in Foster care. THANK GOD FOR WONDERFUL PEOPLE that have the heart to bring others children into their homes in order to provide them shelter, stability, love and a family. You are angels and what you do makes a much bigger impact than you know. So many people in our community stepped up to this mission providing clothes, toys and necessities they needed to make their transition easier. A HUGE THANKS TO WENDY BENTLEY for providing brand new threads and shoes that changed these boys lives forever. Story must be shared in seperate blog!
APRIL
  • April 2nd we attended Family First Networks, Family Fun event in Defuniak for Child Abuse Awareness Month. What a wonderful event.  Destiny Worship Center along with many other local agencies showed their support for our community. Way to go FFN Ladies for your amazing efforts. Your hard work is recognized.
  • April 16th- after a month of preparing and had been in hospital on iv's just days before I pulled it off with the help of Stephanie Bailey, Wendy Kotowske, her children and Wanda Jewell BeGenerous Inc successfully helped a local school by providing clothing, diapers, toiletries and necessities to many families at a private giveaway.  38 families were to attend and although I did not get a head count I know we moved a lot of items and blessed a lot of families.  Thanks for the opportunity MB!!! Hope we helped.
  • April 23rd- Delivered a Jeep load of  shoes, clothing decor for rooms I'm helping fix up for the children and of course no kids should go without Easter baskets, off to Defuniak to help a single mom of 7.  Great visit. Nothing like having 9 kids meet "Mrs Stephanie" at her car ready to help unload.  They always know I'll never come empty handed. I received a gift as well. The oldest son made me a sand filled cross necklace.  It now hangs on my rear view mirror. So sweet.
I am leaving out several missions in between I know, as we have fulfilled many request from Dept of Family and Children, the Health Dept, Walton County Schools, etc.  Although it can be a little overwhelming balancing all this with my own family and work, I would not trade it for anything.  Thank you Father God for allowing me to be a part of this and to touch so many lives.  It is a honor and privilege.
God Bless  you all!

Grapes

I am truly amazed how once you really give things over to the Lord how things become so transparent or clear.  I used this analogy the other day as attended our Coalition Meeting, 'God has planted seeds before us and not just a flower seedling but grape seedlings.'  We are grapes on a vine, growing together down one strand or vine heading for one ultimate purpose.  Intertwining each of us as we cross paths. Together we are stronger. He is laying this on my heart.... I know it is the Lord because it is 5:20 am and I have been up since 3:30 and should be passed out!!!!
  •  Grapes are started from seedlings Days to harvest: 3 years  . Light requirements: Full sun. Water requirements: Regular watering We are seedlings, We can take years to grow, we need need to see the light= GOD  WATER= THE WORD (BIBLE)
  • Grapes have very deep roots= we are what is instilled in us
  • Most grapes are not self-fertile, so you should plan on growing 2 or 3 separate vines in order for them to produce any fruit. We can not live a full life with out him we should teach our vines (children, peers, friends, family) so they can also produce and share the legacy of the Lord.
  • Choose a sunny location where you have space to put up wires to train the vines for support Keep yourself surrounded with believers (sunny people) put up the wire (mission) train the vines to support it!
  • Having your grapes on a trellis or other kind of support is a must with grapes-You MUST have and be the backing, someone to hold you up, a mentor, an "advisory group, thanks ladies"
  • Heavy pruning is also a necessary part of growing grapes- Pruning= involving the selective removal of parts of a plant. 2 things here: 1) remove the people in your life who are not good for you.  Be selective in who you have surrounding you.  If you are surrounded by negative you will be negative. If you surround your self with well grounded, believers you will be more likely to see the works of the Lord.  2) remove all the worrying, doubt, negative thoughts, stress and frustrations from your grape(soul) Lay it all out for the Lord.  A great price was paid for you.. He does not want us to do these things, he suffered so we didn't have to.
  • you want the vines to grow large grapes with good flavor. Allowing the plant to produce too many grapes will result in very small fruit with poor taste He has laid this on me...Im just speaking it.  I feel it is better to have 1 person (Large Grape) FULL of GOD, a true believer, son or daughter of GOD than a bunch of grapes(people) proclaiming it but not walking it. I WANT TO WALK IT!
  • choose the strongest vine to be your future “trunk”. Tie that vine to both wires, training to grow upright-Can you be the trunk? Do you want to be the trunk? for your children, your friends, your family, OUR GOD???
WOW! I will pray because I must ask my self that same question???????
I'm out on that note...

What a DAY!

Up and at it at 6 am. No, I don't sleep in on weekends either.  Big day. Cleaned a home (GMomma has to work to have gas money to get to and from)  back to my house by 8:30, then time to load up for Bruce, Fl to visit our friends at the Muscogee Nation.  Loaded shoes and diapers to the roof, along with 4 kids and we're off.  Filled our bellies because we'd have no time for an early lunch.  My little buddies we're calling to make sure i was coming to see them. It is funny that now if I don't show I will have little ones filled with disappointment.  Pulled up and they were their waiting on pine needles (pins and needles lol).  I kill me.

Trunk pops open and we're off.  As I stocked shelves in food pantry with diapers, I notice approx 20 college students volunteering and helping families to their cars with groceries.  Emery College had a group of students come down for the weekend to volunteer their time to the Muscogee Nation.  What a blessing they are.  It is so awesome to see kids from our future generations giving their hearts and time to a great cause.
It's really neat to see others come from so far to help "Our part of the world."  Thank you Emery College for your dedication to our world.

Shoes hit the ground.  I distributed approx 16 pairs of shoes to kids in need.  One mother came up and after finding just the right size she said, "This is awesome, he comes here barefoot and leaves with shoes on his feet. Very unexpected."  Thanks Wendy for allowing us to to provide shoes to kids in such need.  Because of your generous heart we covered not only bottoms but feet too.

My works not done today. By the way my kids were a huge help.  They entertained Londyn and hung out with our local buddies while helping families carry groceries as needed.  They were great sports.  It is wonderful to allow your children to volunteer and see first hand what people face in our community.  It works on them and helps to teach them about appreciating even the small things we have that we take for granted. (running water, electricity, windows to keep weather out, food on our table as we bless each meal.)
So we close shop in Bruce and take Bruce with us to Path of Grace Thrift Store.  Path of Grace was so awesome to share with BeGenerous and Muscogee Nation items from their thrift store.  They gave us loads, I should clarify.... LOADS of donations to help the families in our community.  Even Little Londyn helped pull books from shelves into boxes. She loves being of help. Thank you Team Path. James I know it takes a lot of work to coordinate all you do with your move and I appreciate you and Jane fitting us in and for you all sharing the love.  Many blessings. (Love ya, Gmomma Linda.)  We load up a truck and trailer for the Tribe and send one truck on its way as volunteers and others from the tribe nation help carry loads to their cars and and pack boxes.  We call it quits around 2:30 head to the house just as dad is pulling burgers from the grill for us.  Thanks hubbie, it was just what we needed after a hard day's work.
Home sweet home.  Soccer game cancelled, pretty out for kids to play in yard as I, of course, sort more donations and gather things to distribute to certain places.  Garage finally in order. 5:30, relax until 7:00 picking up teenager from work, late dinner, now time to share this day....baby and hubbie snuggle time...GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT.
God bless you all.

AWARENESS...............

Hello fellow Floridians,
I want to share with you all a little about the Muscogee Nation, an Indian Tribe in Bruce, FL.  Some of you may have heard about it and sat in wonder, some of you this will be the first time you have heard of Indians in Florida and others have been there and seen it.  What ever the case may be, I feel it is important we bring some awareness to the Muscogee Nation of Florida and find out what is going on out in " our neck of the woods."  Most in Walton and South Walton County think of  Walton County as a beach community, a  community that has not been badly effected by the economy and BP Oil Spill.  Many think, "There is no homelessness or poverty in Walton County."  STOP and shake the salt water out of your ears, and Listen carefully.  THERE IS A COMMUNITY IN CRISIS IN OUR NECK OF THE WOODS. Right out your back door and over a little bridge.  Believe it or not Walton County has 51 citites within our borders.  This is our community and WE have families and children out there in need.  Although my focus of this email is Bruce and the Muscogee Nation I want to make it clear.  Walton County is a community in crisis.  There are homeless families, parents struggling to feed their children or to cover their bottoms in diapers, sick elderly that have no way to get help. There are families in need in most of our surrounding areas, yes even out in our beach communities in Santa Rosa Beach and  Miramar Beach, FL.
Back to Bruce....
Some of you are already going, What?? we have Indians around here still? Yes, we do and NO!, as Ann Tucker would say, "They are not in tee pees cooking of over stick in the woods."  They are an Indian Nation that has been in Bruce, FL for 160 years. They have homes and a community within their Nation.   The Indian people of Bruce have managed for themselves for all those years not really knowing what had moved in and around their tribal nation. The Muscogee Indian Nation had been living a life as they know it to be comfortable.  It was not until Ann Tucker, Chairwomen of the Tribal Council had the trees pulled back and got a peek of the outside by a wonderful women of God, Pastor Elaine Barrow, Bruce United Methodist Church.  Ann was quickly made aware that this Nation in Bruce was no longer just her and the Muscogee Tribe, e it was a "Community in Crisis."    Ann Tucker, Chairwomen of this Indian Nation, and her husband Chuck, did not hesitate to jump in and help.  See Indians help Indian people but they also know help others when they are needed.  Regardless of what help we were over the last 100 years to these Indians, they never second guessed their role in this.  They understand that under our "Creator" we all have an obligation to women, children and elders. What Ann found down the back dirt roads was horrific. I know because I have been out there.  I have seen the rusted out trailers with no windows, roofs caved in and doors hanging off.  I have seen people living in trailers and homes that should be condemned.
I will share. We were delivering a King Mattress, toiletries, clothing and their groceries from the food pantry in Muscogee Nation of Bruce, to a grandmother of 9 kids. Yes they live with her.  She was having surgery for Uterine cancer soon so we had to get to her. Her mattress was in really bad shape. We wanted her comfortable for her long recovery.  As we pulled up the dirt driveway I notice one trailer crumbled to pieces on one side. My first thoughts were 'No, Way, this is not what this family is living in.' As I kept looking another trailer sat behind it.  It wasn't much better but it had a roof (bad roof I must add.)   An ill grandmother, 9 kids and 2 adults living in one trailer, a red blanket over a window was lifted from the outside by a child, as he  screamed in the house "Their here!" We unloaded and took in.  I won't continue.....
This family of 12 people had been living out in our community for 3 years with NO POWER and  only water because they had a generator that it was running off of.  Praise God, Village Baptist got power restored for this family and we all came together to feed, clothe and furnish them with things they so desperately needed.
This is only one family.  There are many more like this that Ann, Chuck and the Muscogee Nation is dealing with  on a daily basis.
What Ann Tucker and the Muscogee Nation of Florida has done to bring awareness out there is unbelievable.  She has started a food pantry that just this past weekend served approx 360 people.  A thrift Store and soon a medical clinic and a fuller house (Cold night shelter).  She has rose to the challenge, taken no color or creed, no status or situation into consideration.   She has just provided help because that is our duty and our obligation as human beings.
When she called our state representatives, she asked, "We have a community in Crisis, what do you want me to do?"  See she didn't ask them what they could do for her and the people in our community. She knew she was going to do what she needed  to help but she was bringing it to their attention to the problem.
We are not living in a 3rd world country (God bless those that are).  We live in America, where have neighbors to call upon, government to call upon, we have EACH OTHER!  We should not have starving children running our schools and streets, we shouldn't have struggling parents lost in despair not even knowing where to turn to in our government agencies for help.  Sick and starved elders wasting away in their homes with no companion or attention.
On behalf of BeGenerous Inc, I want to thank Ann and Chuck, the Muscogee Nation and all the volunteers that have stepped up to help our community and our nation.  Please help support the Muscogee Nation of Bruce Fl and other organizations that are fighting for our children, our next generation and  our nation under GOD!
Visit www.mnof.org for more info on the Muscogee Nation or www.begenerousinc.org to see how you can help our community.
HEADING OUT SATURDAY IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER.
Many Blessings,
Stephanie

Coming back around to God...

This is so moving I had to share.  As you have probably read, we have been helping a mother that just a few weeks ago was evicted and forced to live in a motel with no food, little clothing, her children and grand babies.  Since then and by the help of the generous hearts in our community (Gay, Wendy, Dianne and Steph B) she now has a roof over their heads, food on the shelves and a job at Walmart. Praise God!
She reports in to me daily just to let me know how things are going and that they are ok.  These families become an extended family of our own.  She went on to tell me how she had a rough night working and that she had developed blisters beyond on the top of her foot and how unbearable they were.  She said she was in so much pain she was in tears and felt as if she was going to have to give up.  With a few encouraging words she said, "I know God was with me and getting me through the night." she went on the explain that as she was stocking she had to walk pass the book section.  On the end isle was a wall of the Holy Bible. She said every time she passed them, it would remind her that God was carrying her through and that she could make it and could not give up since we all worked so hard to get her there.  She said all night she was thinking of the bibles and how her heart was yearning to find her bible she had packed away.  She had prayed that she had not lost it with everything else and that God would help her get back into the bible.
As she is telling me this, I was in amazement.  See I had just got off the phone with Gay Landreth.  She had just shared with me that her and her husband went to Eagle Wings Bookstore and bought all types of bibles to give out to people that needed or had the want for one.  Gay wanted this mother to have one.  That was so a "GodThing."  I told the mother about that and she just cried. "Are you serious, I just prayed tonight that I would get a bible then you say you got one for me."  Shocked she asked me to please thank Gay and Jeff for getting her that bible and because of us she is coming back around to God.  A God that she once knew but had lost along the way.
The best part of what we are doing through BeGenerous Inc. is not just the food we feed people, the clothes we clothe people in or the bottoms we cover with diapers. It's us feeding them with hope in their lives, our community and in themselves, its clothing them with prayer and love as a cloke shielding them from despair and doubt, it's covering them with support and a sense of worth, a feeling of importance that one feels when someone takes time to show they care.  The greatest accomplishment in this all is to show people they call upon his name and he will provide. To help them find who is ultimately responsible for their second chance, GOD.
God is stirring up something and BeGenerous with your help is going to spread it like butter!
Who's in????
this GMomma is busy busy gotta go!

It's raining SHOES and lots of them....

It's Saturday and I have had a wonderful much needed relaxing day not going anywhere.  I love after many sunny warm days we get a little dark rainy cold day.  I believe that's God's way of saying slow down, today is a down day and you need to do NOTHING.  I must admit sometimes it feels good to do little to nothing.  Once again, Wendy Kotowske, made a drop off at my house of some shoes she purchased fromWalmart on sale. When she called and said she had some shoes I was excited, I had no idea what was to come.  Wendy and Jenna pulled up and started pulling bags and bags and bags from the truck. It was raining more than rain drops at my house.  It was raining shoes.  Wendy had bought 117 pairs of children shoes.  WOW!  I am totally amazed.  Wondering where to store them in my office I started thinking who needed them and boy will they go fast.  I already can account for 26 children who need them just in the families we have recently been working with.  How much fun will me and Wendy have distributing these shoes.  Bless you Wendy and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you are doing to help BeGenerous Inc.
Much Love,
Steph

In Motion....

Friday March 4th-Today was a wonderful day!  It started bright and early of course.  Wendy at Prime Lending/Destin was so gracious to help me out by printing flyers off for my meeting this morning when I ran out of paper at 11:30pm last night.  I swang by to pick those up and MORE diapers. Thanks!  They are all set to be a DROP OFF SITE for donations.  I really appreciate the team at Prime Lending for embracing our causes and stepping up to the challenge EVERYTIME.  Bless you all!  Off to meet Santiago, Outreach Pastor @ Destiny Worship, to load up BOXES and BOXES of canned goods, toiletries, pastas and rice etc. that were donated by our wonderful church family at Destiny Worship Center.  We couldn't go empty handed and since we were going there for a meeting.  So we then headed to Bruce with 2 trucks loaded down to the Muscogee Tribe Nation of Florida.  What a powerful meeting.   Today many came together as one and for one mission.  To serve those in need, allowing God to work through us to resolve issues at hand that the Muscogee Nation and Bruce Florida are facing on a daily basis. We all discussed what we can contribute and how we can all come TOGETHER to help Rural Relief.  BeGenerous Inc. announced that we will be dedicating our March 19th Diaper Drive to the Muscogee Nation of Florida.  All diapers collected at Miramar, Winn-Dixie, will be distributed in Bruce at the following Food Pantry day to help all the struggling families that can not purchase diapers in order to keep lights on and food on the table.  We need A LOT too.  Every other weekend we distribute approx 300 to 400 diapers and we still ahve people in need lined up for us to take their names and sizes.  I hate turning those away that really need them.  Please help our efforts as we attempt to "Cover Every Little Bottom."
One of my favorite Bruce Buddies, Abby, came in and got to see me which brightened my day!  I love the Bruce families.
I was so humbled and blessed to be amongst so many wonderful people.
Much Love to all my followers.  Thanks for your support.

Late night trip to Wally World.

10:00 p.m. Late night run to Walmart but not for a midnight snack or groceries for my household.  We got jobs!  Ok not me and not my husband but one of our families.  Walmart hired the parents of the family we were helping this past week.  I am so proud they took initiative to do their resumes and be persistance in applying and following through on their end.  I met them at Destin Walmart to pick out clothing they needed for their uniforms.  They got to start tonight at 10pm to stock.  They are both so thankful for the opportunity. Thanks to Jeff and Gay Landreth, we got them both 2 shirts and 2 pairs of jeans with a little extra for gas to get home with no worries. When they got the call earlier today that they got the job they were thrilled until they were told the job attire that was mandatory.  They freaked out but knew if they called us BeGenerous, Dianne,Opportunity Inc or Steph B (WCS) we would find GENEROUS hearts to come up with what they needed.  I pray they get settled into their new job and that it gives them relief and a sense of pride knowing they will see the light at the end of tunnel.
I can sleep well tonight knowing they are working and making money.
Bless the Grahm family and God bless you all!
    Steph

    What it's all about....

    March 1st-Today was a busy day.  Up and at it at 6am, start with my daily routine;
    1. Turn the coffee on
    2. Make 4 lunches
    3. few sips of coffee while checking email, post a blog or gather my thoughts for the day before the PARTY begins!
    4. upstairs for the "Rise and Shine!" each room I go one by one.
    5. Back down to get breakfast out
    6. dishes, sweep, check dryer, move washer then start new load
    7. ball cap on to hide bed head
    8. Off to deliver children, OUT OF GAS, get gas
    9. Through the car pool line I drive, 1 down 2 to go
    10.  back home
    11. Londyn breakfast, shower, pack diaper bag, bottle bag, email, calender book, to do list and I'm ready to hit road.
Today was a very good day. To bank, Destiny to drop jean donations off,  Dept of Health Coastal branch to deliver diapers to be distributed to families in need.  Lanie forgot lunch, Turn around to get that to her. Then off to Defuniak I head. On my way to Defuniak I receive a call from a mother we have helped (family in motel last week.)  She was calling to thank us for reaching out to them when they could not find anyone else to.  I told her it was our pleasure and that her family was a blessing to us.  I thanked her for stepping up, setting her pride to the side and reaching out for her family and especially for her babies.  It takes a lot for most to ask for help.  Many sit back and suffer or make their children suffer because they are embarrassed of what people will think of them or they have no idea where to turn.  I explained as I do very often, any one can be in these shoes and no one should suffer because they are afraid to ask.  That is why my mission is to BE THE VOICE.  I went on to tell her "The way it works is, when you run into a family that is in need and you have any means what so ever to help them, you "Pay it Forward".  We were there for you, you are up on your feet and ready to face the world, giving a 2nd chance to do it right.  Give back!  Thank God for the blessing he has provided to you and your family and for the people he seeded in your life. She explained, "Hey we did that.  While we were in Bruce a women said she needed a fridge and didn't know what she would do with all her food. She was scared she'd loose it all because her fridge is out.  We took her number in case we ran across one.  As we were moving into the new home, we found it had a fridge.  We immediately called that lady and provided her a fridge, saving all her food for her family." "That's what I'm talking about!", I replied. She cried and explained how good it made her feel to help.  The uplifting conversation went on for an hour.  Next, Lunch meeting with Steph and Dianne.  Londyn was quite the entertainment.  Off to drop donations to single mom of 7. She is in a new safe home for her babies and needed bedding, diapers, formula etc. She has taken initiative and stepped up to the plate to help herself and her babies.  She is very independent and fulfills her duties as a mother.  I'm so proud of her.  It makes me feel so good when we talk and before we let each other go we say "I love you!" It's what is all about.

While in Defuniak, I get a call from a family.  This was a hard request for them.  I told her nothing would shock me, "give it to me." They needed feminine products for 2 girls, toilet paper and bottle nipples immediately.  They didn't want to ask but ddidn't know how to get them.  Off to the Dollar General Londyn and I go.  Thanks Stephanie Bailey for the $5.00 to put towards it.  It helped.  Last stop, to make the drop.  As the mom walked me through their new home she was shining with pride and excitement that they were finally out of the motel and could see the greener pasture (literally).  It made me proud for all us that helped them.  Another family can sleep easier and under a roof.  I can go home!   YIPPPPEEEEEEE
    TIRED GMOMMA STEPH OUT!

    On the road again.....

Feb 26th, Saturday morning, it's 6 am and my cell phone alarms for me to get a move on!  Coffee on and in the shower I go. A sip of coffee then downstairs to once again, load my Jeep to roof. 6:30 done, one more sip of coffee, bags and boxes lined up down the drive way to make it easier to load for Jeff and Court.  Loaded up but "Ohhhhhh wait!" "Can I fit a KING SIZE MATTRESS?" If looks could kill.  J/k you know how hubbies are.  So to fulfill my cry the King size mattress get's loaded and bungeed down for our road trip!  Kids round up and as Bob Seager sings "On the Road Again!"  Off to Bruce, FL Muscogee Tribe Nation we go.
When we arrived struggling families lined up the ramp and stairs.  I knew this would be a BIG but humbling day and I was so excited to be a part of it.  As I stepped out of the car one of our little Bruce Buds ran off "Their here!" as he called a teen girl we have became close to as well.  We ran to eachother and gave big hugs.  It's just what is all about.  I love it.  Village Baptist had a team of volunteers on the property building the thrift store and giving truck loads of furniture away.  One of our families that were just last week living in a motel we're picking out furniture for their "Home" that they found by the grace of God and our team of Angels, Stephanie Bailey(Walton County Schools) and Dianne McManus(Opportunity Inc.).  I know they have wings under their shirts.  It was so evident that God was present in Bruce this weekend, as his people all came together for one purpose and one mission.  As we met some of the families there to distribute donations we had collected for them one mother/grandmother came up to us to thank us and with tears in her eyes said "I want to tell you when people ask, how we got in this situation." I told her we needed no explanation. I stated "It is not how you got there but how you rise above the challenge that matters. We have or all will fall in our lives in one way or another." No one shall cast judgement on others, for only one can judge or question and it is not me.  She then handed me an invitation to her fathers memorial.  She continued to explain "Last year was a bad year, one thing after another.  My father died which lead me to depression, because I was a daddy's girl. I lost my job and so on."  I reached out to her and said. 'If you call upon the Lord, he will raise you up.  However, you must REALLY call his name out, and hand it all over to him. He will hear you and he will answer." She replied, "He has through you all."  To no surprise to Courtney or those who know me, I was in tears with her as she handed me a card that she carries with her everyday that her mother wrote to her.  It read,  "Trust in God!  The Bible says "Ask and you will receive" "Stay on your knees and ask for exactly what you need (not what you want or things that are frivolous but more of God and his guidance for you and your family.  Stay on your knees and keep talking to him. Praising him, loving him, Don't stop, he'll answer in his own time."

Praise God!  This was so awesome to see; homeless, no job, no clothes but what we brought, days of starving and she still looked at that and had faith and believed in him. She already knew of God through her heritage and she counted on his word to get her through.  I hope that she continues to carry that with her because I know I will.

You know, we all need to STOP casting judgement and making assumptions of others situations.  Just give with no hesitating or what if's.  Yes, some people have made mistakes and are living the consequences everyday, some faced unforeseen circumstances that were out of their control but I can tell you MOST are humbled by the experience and are thankful to be giving another chance to make things right.  How awesome is our God to forgive, pick up and carry us when we need him.  What if our God never gave us the opportunity to repent and make better choices.  What if we were hit with unforeseen circumstances, that were out of our control and we never got a chance to recover from them. What if we never had a 2nd chance at life?  What if no one was there for you when you lost everything?  What if?
I tell you this we could ALL BE THERE.  If you can't see that with the economy and the havoc set upon the world right now I don;t know what will wake us up.  It is reported that Okaloosa and Walton County have 2000 homeless families right now.  We could be one.  I have no sham or pride issues.  My family is one check from walking in those shoes.  We struggle each month to raise our kids with one income.  It's not easy and I never take things for granted or cast judgement because I COULD BE THERE!  We have to stop judging others for their situations. Rise up! because what would you want others to do for you if you were down?

Please, help our cause, supporting our mission to "Save our part of the World."
Many blessing to you all and your families,
    Steph

11:00 pm on a Friday Night

    11:00 on a Friday night and I'm sitting in the floor covered in packs of Ra men Noodles and I just stop for a minute and have to laugh.  What a party!  I'm delirious.  After hours of sorting clothes yesterday and hours sorting canned goods, microwaveable dinners, snacks, toiletries etc tonight I'm going to say that this MISSION is close to complete.  Tomorrow bright and early we will head out on a delivery mission to Bruce, Fl to the Muscogee Nation.  There we will meet the families that our wonderful community rallied together for and collected the majority of items that they needed to function on a daily basis.  Just an idea of what we were up against;
    1. Grandmother providing a roof over 9 children living in a trailer that has not had power to in 3 years. By the grace of God and Village Baptist Church she has power but still needed some things. This grandmother recently found she has uterine cancer and will have a major surgery to remove everything including lymph nodes.  We are providing her some clothing, bedding, bed pads for after her surgery and a King mattress seeing the one she is using has springs poking through. One of our little 10 yr old buddies will receive his Aeropostle Jacket he has dreamed about. THANKS COACH CHRISTAL.THANK YOU PATH OF GRACE AND MANY MORE
    2. Family living in motel last week (mother father, 3 kids, 16 yr old & parents) we are proud to share they are in a home. Some received job opportunities others are checking in to some potential leads.  Praise GOD! However, they needed things to get settled in such as beds.  Everyone has slept on floors for the past 2 days in hopes we will be able to get them beds tomorrow out of the furniture being brought in by some churches.  Wish us luck!  We are also taking them loads od clothing including brand new outfits for grandparents interviews (Thanks Wendy's friend), diapers and blankets etc.  THANK YOU WENDY(Prime Lending) GAY(LaFlorida Coastal Real Estate), PATH OF GRACE
    3. Food, Toiletries, diapers etc to Stephanie Bailey for Walton County Schools Kidz Closet. Donations she is receiving from the "Snowbirds" and residence at Edgewater in Destin will be providing hunger children snacks while at school so they do not go home starving. The donations are in abundance.  THANKS EDGEWATER IN DESTIN.
    4. Truck load of clothing donations shared by PATH OF GRACE and others such as Coach Casey, and Wendy to distribute to families in need and/or give to the Muscogee Nation for their thrift store.
This trip is HUGE, not really sure how we're getting it all there, but pics will reveal it all.
MAY GOD BLESS EVERY ONE OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES IN ABUNDANCE. Please step back and realize what we think is bad is not bad.  Appreciate what you have, who have and where you are in life. Most of all THANK GOD for the blessings he has provided.

    RISE AND SHINE

It is 6 am and a beautiful day has just began.  Great things will happen today for BeGenerous Inc. and for you, I just believe it. As I left the mother the other night after loading her down with groceries I told her, "Do not stress, know you have people willing and able to help that willall they can to help. God is GREAT and he will provide and work it all out. I will pray for you and your family and you can sleep easy knowing it will be ok."  She agreed they would pray as well.
See I know because I have seen the power of prayer work.  I believe in the power of prayer.  Even if we do not always see immediate outcomes from it, I believe her hears us and really listens.  He will unfold it as he sees fit.  And even then some of the unanswered prayers end up being just what you need.  Sometimes all you need is the hope and comfort the person gives you in their prayers or knowing they are thinking of you and believe in you.  HOPE!
I am proud to announce that the family living in the motel that we gathered emergency food for has found a home with the help of Steph B and Dianne.  I got the call last night as the excitement and relief screamed through the phone.  The family will be moving out of the motel today and into a home.

Another Mission completed by the Grace of God!

I want to first of all, thank God for planting the seeds (people and opportunities) in my life, as he has.  He always comes through and it amazes me how he brings, just the right people in your life, at just the right time. When you take risk or take chances, it is so easy to doubt yourself and your plan of action.  However, it never fails when I'm filled with despair or doubt, I am lifted by prayer, and things become so clear.
I am thankful he has lead us to so many families in need and provided us with the generous hearts that want to reach out with us.  It is humbling to know that others believe in our missions and want to walk this walk with us.  He has and will always provide in abundance when we call upon his name.  We are blessed to bless others.

What was once a dream and a "to do" on my "Bucket List" is now becoming reality.  That is an awesome feeling. The excitement and joy I feel is unmeasurable.
I want to thank Stephanie Bailey(Homeless Liaison for Walton County Schools) and Dianne McManus(case worker for Opportunity Inc.)  for giving us the opportunities to help our homeless and needy families.  They are both amazing women that dedicate ever second they can allocate to families in need. Their generous hearts inspire me.  I know they have wings underneath their shirts. "Angels in disguise"

Mission: Feb 21st, Monday,  I received a call around 10am, from a mother in Freeport that we had helped with some donated clothing and tolietries .  This family lost their home and was forced to live in a motel with 3 small children. She said "Stephanie, I hate to call you, but I didn't know what else to do. We are down to 3 oranges and we do not know what we will eat tonight."   After consoling her, I explained I would gather what I could and get it to her before dinner.  Having no idea how I was going to pull this off considering we have no food pantry,  I took a deep breath, prayed and mission was in ACTION......Thank you Lord, for always providing.
I called my "Partner in Mission" Courtney and she reminded me to go visit Gay Landreath.  This amazing soul, had already bought grocery gift cards for me to help families. I calle dGay, told her of the situation and she said "They are here baby, come get them." As I was heading to her office in Grayton Beach,  Wendy Kotowske, calls "Steph I want to help with some families and get some items needed in recent email." Once I told her the situaiton as well, she put her wings on and flew to the store. hehehe Within 3 hours I had picked up gift cards, met Wendy loaded a trunk full of groceries she bought, then headed to Destin Walmart to get other necessities they needed and on the road again,  just in time to get to them in Freeport before dinner.  WOW. MISSION COMPLETE. The family was so shocked and thankful.  They explained they had called out to churches and other places that could not provide resources and felt like they were against all odds.  They were hopeless, but remembered our visit with them the weekend before and said "I know we can trust that Stephanie lady, she seemed sincere."  They knew they could count on us.  That is AWESOME! With no immediate resource to help them we called out and our community made it happen.  It is because of Gay and Wendy, that this family of 7 did not go to bed hungry last night.  May we pray for Tasha and her family. May they overcome all challenges they are up against and see the works of God in progress.

Thank you ladies! With my whole heart, I love you all that make it possible for us to help others.

    Visit to the Muscogee Tribe

Saturday February 12, 2010 Stephanie and I loaded up her jeep and headed out to Bruce. We met so many nice people! Loads of happy little kids and smiling faces. With our jeep loaded from front to back with diapers and clothing we gave everything out in minutes. Diapers disapeared as fast as they hit the shelves. I would like to THANK everyone who supports us and donated to this cause! It was a humbling day and it really brought much awareness to the fact that people are really struggling. We see it on the news, we read it everyday but when you are face to face with it....your heart will melt. We met several families. One family has not had power in a few years. They are starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel though because another organization was able to help them get power they need. One lady just got a job and was thrilled but worried bc she did not know how she would pay for the gas to get there the first week. She had hope in her eyes though and I could tell she was a strong person!  I don't think she realizes just how strong she is though! We met some of the cutest and well mannered kids! We had a 12 year old child come up to us and ask us for diapers for his little brother at home. We had already ran out but plan to get some to this family soon. I prayed for that area very hard that night. I am so humbled by the wonderful love some of these leaders showed. Stephanie and I worked the thrift shop and did the best we could to organize everything. I don't think they sold much that day but they did hand out a ton of grocerys to families. The thrift store is priced very good and you can find some good deals. All of the proceeds, to my understanding, go back into the food bank. This food bank, to my knowledge, depends only on donations. I am not sure what the housing was like as I did not see that part of the area but I know there is a need in that area. So the purpose of my post today is to ask everyone to please pray for the families, leaders and the community of Bruce, Florida.
Thank you for reading my post! I don't blog much but when something strikes my heart I like to write about it. God Bless You All! Have a great week full of love and Blessings!
    Courtney :)

    So it's 4 am

While sick baby is finally back to sleep for a moment, I laid in bed with a stirring mind of what I need to do today.  Who I needed to call, what letters I need to write and so on.  I figured now would better than later to get started, because a sick baby awaken has no time for a working lil GMomma.  I am been really praying and thinking about this whole mission and how it has so quickly transpired into what was once on my Bucket List into now Reality.  I'm so fired up. Thank you Lord, for you have open Generous hearts and Generous minds, to push me along as we wanted to make this dream come true.  So, as you all know, it is so easy to doubt ourselves, to question our ability, our motives our ideas, our dreams. Somedays I stop and pray, "Oh Lord, is this what you meant when I got this vision in my heart.  Am I suppose to be doing all this, on this scale?" I quickly stop and remind myself of what Pastor Steve teaches so often about, "Feel it in your heart.", it's in the heart, that matters not the mind, believe it in your heart, the heart, the heart. It says it in the bible... Get this....
”A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5)
Now go back to my quote I underlined. "this vision in my heart."  I did not ask what was on my mind
    , it was already on my HEART.  I answered my own question. I have felt this on my heart my whole life, it was not just a thought, or a vision in my mind but a vision in my heart.  I believe if you feel something so deep that you feel it and you believe it in your heart that you have already found your answer. So I started thinking what do I want to do with this, what is on my heart, what do I want others to get out of this, so these words came to my heart;
    • To help people find there purpose in life
    • Give people the 2nd chance they never thought they could have
    • Inspire others
    • Be a part of something good
    • Impact the lives of others
    • Be positive
    • Live for Jesus
    • Live daringly
    • Never give up on YOURself and YOUR dreams
    • Believe, believe, believe
    • Love others
    • Reach out
    • Mentor
    • Take chances and risks
    • Stay focused and committed
    • Never let people's judgement on you stop your mission
    • Carry your missions in your heart as Jesus carried the cross for us
    • serve eachother, EVERYDAY, people's needs never stop
    • make a difference
    • Bring awareness
    • give to those less fortunate
    • count your blessings
    • Thank GOD!
    • Thank GOD! (yes I said it twice, no typo)
    • save lives
    • Lift people up
    • BE THE VOICE
    • stand up for your beliefs
    • stand up for a cause
    • STAND UP!
    CAN I GET AN AMEN!
Much love from this Gmomma out!
    Steph

    In the swing of things...

Hey there followers.  We have been busy little momma's trying to get everything up and running for BeGenerous Inc.  We have been so blessed how things are coming along. If you would, Check our website out, www.begenerousinc.org and request our friendship on Facebook. Please share our mission with everyone you know.  It is from the support of our friends and community that we together will make a difference in the lives of others.  Today we were so lucky to join in on a Homeless Coalition Meeting with a group of amazing people.  Thank you Stephanie Bailey for opening doors and opportunities for us to set off on so many wonderful missions. It moved me to be sitting at a table with so many intelligent and generous hearted people that have the hunger and desire to make a difference in the world as we do.  As we sat and discussed issues as we as one community are facing on a daily basis, My body filled with excitement and it assured me more, that this vision that was laid upon my heart did have meaning and that I could accomplish this.  I know nothing can be accomplished as one.  It's all about UNITY; the condition of being one, a combination into one, to be something whole. We need to have Unity horizontally and vertically. Do you feel me?

A wonderful women of God that we were so blessed to meet, spoke to Courtney and I today and as we shared the same views and aspirations it all seemed so clear.  This mission I set out on CAN and WILL be accomplished.  No ONE can hold us back.  She said "What you are doing is going to be huge, more than you can ever imagine." She also reminded us to stay steadfast, do not bend when the enemy is trying to bend us. So I know when doors are shut, another will open. When one person says no, 10 more will say yes. When money is tight, God will provide. When I can not help one family like I would like, another organization can. She also said, To remind ourselves daily of why we are doing this and for who.  We need to all step back and see the bigger picture.  It is not about us, how much money we can give, how many diapers we can donate, how much recognition we get as an organization. It's about the bigger picture and for who we are really doing this for. God. To serve him through his people. He said in the bible, Matthew 25:40 What we do for his brothers(sons, daughters, others) we do for him.
It is our duty to; as an community, as a county, as a city, as a state, as a nation, as a world, as an individual, to take a stand for each other. Our brothers, sisters, neighbors, community, churches, elders, parents, CHILDREN, OUR GOD and to our FUTURE! STAND UP WITH US, PLEASE. HELP US, HELP OTHERS! MAY MANY BLESSINGS BE SHED UPON YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES!
    Much Luv,

    Raring to go......

We GMomma's are ready to kick off our first Diaper Drive to promote our local BeGenerous Inc. Diaper Bank covering "Every Little Bottom" inspired by Huggies, which I first saw on The ELLEN Show.   This Sat from 10-2 at Miramar Winn Dixie we will pass out flyers and ask our local community to help us by donating diapers, wipes and diaper creams etc. while we bring awareness to our area and build our inventory for our local Diaper Bank.
We have been so blessed by the support and excitement of our community.  We will continue to spread the word and request donations for  diapers throughout the year or until this diaper need is obsolete.  I know EXACTLY, unfortunately it's wishful thinking but we will continue our efforts for as long as I can keep the diapers pouring in and the doors open.  Be Generous Inc. will  establish a Diaper Bank which will help provide mothers and father and other organizations with diapers and wipes which are an essential need for babies.  Could you imagine having to reuse soiled diapers because you hace no more.  Could you imagine missing work because you have no diapers to send with your baby to daycare.

Spread the word and help us cover "Every Little Bottom."
    Be Generous Inc,
    Steph

    Reflections from Keith Wheeler....

If you do not know who Keith Wheeler is please check him out at http://www.kw.org/.  This man has carried a 12 foot wooden cross around the world since 1985.  Enjoy and God Bless....
    Reflections from his website:

    Empty Eyes
    Just look in their eyes and you will hear their pleas;
We cannot ignore their cries and disregard their needs.
If we take the time we can see their tears.
Their eyes cannot hide their worries and their fears.
In cities and towns, along streets and roads,
The burdens they bear are such heavy loads.
How can we see them, then turn away,
And not carry their burdens, but go our own way?
    Broken and searching, lives in despair;
Lets us love them and help them,
    at least offer a prayer.
They are lost, so lost -- can’t you hear their cries?
If you can’t hear them, then take the time and just look in their eyes.

    Tough Mission Jan 20th

Today was pretty rough.  I had to step back, look at the bigger picture and pray that I would make a sound decision for Be Generous and our partners (donors&volunteers) in mission. Sometimes I have a tendency to make decisions with my full heart, where I want to do everything to make others happy, which can get the best of me. My goal on our missions is not to enable people but help them get back to living and giving their children a chance at life.  Most  have lost all hope and have no one else to turn to.  I pray God  continues to guide me and Courtney in our missions, providing us with clear vision, open minds, and the strength to know which direction to take each situation.

As we have been helping this mom get into a home so that she can provide better living conditions for her children,  I visited the property she was interested in to make a checklist of the things she would need to get settled into the "Perfect house." I was devastated and heart broken.  My heart ached because what was "perfect" in her eyes, was in reality and in my opinion and the professional opinions of contractors, a home that should be condemned.  I felt a sense of urgency to step in and help her realize it was not the best for her and her family. I knew this news would hurt her and make her feel as if another door was shutting in her face.  On the other hand, I knew I had to be honest for her sake and the sake of the kids.  She could not move into that property.  She was in denial and  I soon realized that when you go without for so long you tend to be blinded with despair and just except less of things because you have no vision of better.  She deserves more, her children deserve more.  No one in America should have to be subjected to unlivable conditions, especially when they are trying and can not catch up because they have been so low.  This is why it  was on my heart to call upon our community to pitch in and help me with this family.  The mother has faced awful circumstance and regardless of how she got there we should have open hearts and open minds and let her know  this community and God loves her.  As I  visit her on every occasion I  explain to her I am only working through God and for him.  He is who lead me to her, he has asked for me to call on her showing her his love and help her understand she can depend on him and those who work in his name.  She is coming around and I feel that once we get her where she needs to be, she will be more comfortable to face the world and raise her head to the heavens and call upon him when she is need if ever again.

Thanks for the support of all my family and friends.  God bless!

    Where God's path will lead....

We G Momma's have been so blessed by the support, prayer and the willingness of so many hearts in our community.  I truly believe that in God's plan set forth we have a path we will walk down and if we listen to him and make wise decision and follow your heart, we will encounter great things and great people that he knows we need.  We may need them for different reasons but once we cross paths, it's so clear, why and how.  I am so grateful for God's vision and plan for my life and for our mission.  This past week we were stopping in to visit one of our partners in mission, Angela Waller.  She has so graciously and unselfishly giving her heart to our mission.  She has reached out to some of our families, impacting their lives greatly. She has giving me hope in people in our community. I will probably be speaking for her when I say the people she has helped have impacted her life as well.  These families are giving us so much in return without even realizing it.  Giving to those in need provides you with a sense of being, a sense of purpose and fills your heart with joy. Giving whole hearted with no expectations of something in return becomes infectious.  I challenge everyone to give, to help, to get involved and volunteer.  Make a difference in someones life.   Back to my story, as we were waiting for Angela to come in we decided to visit our loyal friends at LaFlorida Real Estate in Grayton Beach.  What a wonderful God filled office.  Courtney and I were just talking on the way to our appt about needing prayer over us and our business, as we take this next step in our mission.  As we are sharing our vision with Linda and Gay, Gay decides to pray for us.  She has a wonderful gift of prayer and spirit within her.  God used her at that moment to get us through are moment of doubt and fear. Call on his name and he will answer.  he did at that moment through her.  She helped restore faith in my heart that I am making the right decision in  following my life long dream of impacting the lives of others.  Thank you so much Gay!  It shows what type of women you are and I am proud to have met you, to know you and to share this experience with you.  May God cover your business with greatness and an abundance of business.  May you flourish in all you do and may you touch more hearts with your power of prayer.  And to Linda Steele in her office. Angel is all I can say.  Linda and her daughter have helped me on this journey already by helping our Christmas Mission become a success.  They provided Christmas for 4 children, food for 2 families and a refrigerator to a single mom of 7 that was storing food in coolers.
Their generous hearts inspired me and also restored my faith in people.
I just wanted to take time to give thanks, so here's a huge THANK YOU.

    My Own Little World

Gmomma's mission to the next level.....

    Email:
Good Morning friends, PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THIS WHOLE EMAIL THEN, SEE ATTACHMENTS. I KNOW IT LOOKS LONG BUT IT SHOULD FIRE YOU UP!

I wanted to share a bit of exciting news with all of you because I believe that you are all very important people (VIP) in our community and I know you care about our mission and have a heart for others.
First thing, as most of you are aware, my friend Courtney and I have been serving our community, with the help of your generous hearts, to start a mission that we feel is our God giving purpose. It has been weighing heavily on my heart to take this to the next level seeing the want and desire of so many to help those in need.  I decided to start our own non-profit organization and with Courtney on board we are raring to go!  The non profit will be called "BeGenerous."  Our mission is to help families in need as well as to be the organization that other non profits, that have so generously blessed our community, can call on to help them when they also are in need.  We want to speak out on behalf of everyone in need, helping bring awareness to our community and our world. Some say "Stephanie, you can't save the world."  I believe we are all God's people set here for a purpose and although I can not save the world I can sure help as many in it as God so graciously brings to me. Matthew 25:35-40.
We will be stationed at my home and mostly mobile until we grow into something huge, which is my vision. We need your support and pray.  Our email address is gmommasmission@gmail.com. (Godly Momma's Mission)
Please save it as a contact so you don't miss our emails and updates. If you have always wanted to help  others, but just haven't found the time or you feel God has placed a desire on your heart to do something for those in need email us to see what you can do or give to help us help others.

JANUARY KICKS OFF ONE OF OUR  FIRST MISSIONS as "BeGenerous"
. Please join us or stop by Miramar Winn Dixie, JAN 29th, 10-2 for the kick off to our Diaper Bank. We will be asking our community to help by purchasing any brand diaper etc.  BeGenerous will be establishing a local Diaper Bank for our community to help those parents in need of a simple necessity such as diapers.  STOP HERE and read Attachments PLEASE........
Joining in a promotion with Huggies we will attempt to cover "Every Little Bottom" in our part of the world.  We are praying that God blesses us and our organization with so many open hearts and minds that we collect an abundance of diapers, wipes and medications to help us start this much needed foundation. We will supply diapers to other non profits such as Caring and Sharing and the Okaloosa Coalition on Homeless as well as many other non profits and families in need.
HELP US BRING AWARENESS TO THIS PROBLEM.  Would you or have you had to let your baby go without diapers????
                                           NOTE
    • Most babies use 6 to 10 diapers per day
    • Cost of $75 per month
    • Up to age of 21/2 a baby will need an avg of 7000 diapers
    • 1 out of 3 American families are struggling to provide diapers for their babies
    • 1 out of 10 are reusing soiled diapers
    Can you imagine????????????????????
Thanks for your support in our efforts to save "Our Part of the World".

    "God's Timing is Everything"

Thanks Court!  I am truly blessed to have you share this journey with me.  God has wonderful things in store for us.I am so overwhelmed with excitement knowing he is and will work his power through us.  I am committed now more than ever in my life to serve in the glory of his name.  I have not always been this "holy roller". I've always believed whole hearted in the word of Christ and always recognized him as the most important thing before all , however in the past 6 months of my life something has happened.  I can feel God's present in my life stronger than ever.  I now stop and think WHY WASN'T I THIS HOLY ROLLER ALWAYS. I'm rolling in it, out it and all around it. I wonder why I haven't got this Gung Ho before.  I guess like you just wrote above,"God's timing is everything." I know this is my time and I am gonna Shine! Everyone that knows me when I do something, I got to go ALL OUT.  This GMomma is ready to full fill her "God Giving Destiny"(Pastor Steve and Jackie) God Bless all our friends, local supporters, Destiny Worship, all non profits, and those who volunteer or give to make a difference in anther's life and first and fore most Jesus Christ our Saviour.  May God cover you all with more blessings than you have ever known.

    When A Woman Trusts God

I would like to share a book I am reading right now called " When A Woman Loves God". This book is so inspiring and basically goes through many of the Bible Stories and Compares it to modern day stories. If you are in need of some inspiration and faith building skills....go get this book!

Stephanie is such a good friend and I am truly amazed at her commitment to saving the world. I am loving this journey with her. Even though I don't post a lot I am in this with a whole heart and love serving my Lord Jesus! I truly believe that it's not about what we do because without him nothing we do will even matter. God works through us and you for the good of others. When we allow him to enter our hearts we are able to thrive on all he has for us. As our pastors wife, Jackie, said last week in church: Our heart is like a field. We need to tend the garden in our heart so when it rains ( meaning God pouring his love into our life) we can recieve all he has for us. If our heart is not ready to recieve we may miss out altogether on something wonderful he has for us. I believe God's timing is everything although I know I have missed many chances in my life because my heart was fully ready I am ready now and listening as close as I can. I encourage you to visit a local church or if you do and just need a little extra boost as we all do sometimes....go find something spiritual to read! The Bible is always the best food the soul! God Bless.

Jan 2011! Great things are coming.

I am so excited about the new year and what all is to come of 2011.  It will be the start of something GREAT!  I believe God has placed a path before me and I am ready to take the steps.  I know your wondering "What is she up to now?"  I will share.  It has been heavy on my heart and I am now ready to jump in.  I will establish a non profit organization.  Teaming up with my GMomma, Courtney Hatten, we will make our life long dream come true and hopefully touch the lives of many while doing it.
This non profit will be established to help other local non profits that need help with volunteering or donations because their supplies are low and/or families that we find or that are referred to us.  I believe when people fall on hard times they just need a little help to get on their feet and a little hope never hurt anyone! Personally we have walked in these families shoes. so that makes it even more of a special mission to me.  I believe most of us are only one pay day away from falling on hard times.  It doesn't make anyone less than us.  I know God has placed each of us on this earth for a purpose.  I have always known what my purpose is and I am so thankful that it is my time to full fill it.

We began this journey with a helping a few families gather things they needed to function on a daily basis such as beds for their children.  We also participated in Destiny Worships Thanksgiving  Outreach program where we touched over 25 families with food and blessings.  Then we organized our own G Momma Mission, a Christmas Outreach program where we collected gifts on behalf of parents that could not provide Christmas for their kids. This spread like wild fire and with many huge hearts in our local community we provided Santa for 16 children and even got some parents little happies.

Posting soon our upcoming mission for 2011!  Stay tooned......
    Thanks for following our journey!
    Much Love,
    Steph
